Spiritual Art Background

  • I have been channeling spiritual paintings for many years, linking in to the energies of the spiritual planes, higher realms and dimensions and expressing them through imagination in different art forms.

I work in a variety of mediums including encaustic wax, acrylics, inks, oils and pastels. My artwork has a strong healing aspect and is also an expression of my own soul journey. The pictures are like visual meditations; doors through which one can enter the beautiful and mystical realms of the spiritual.

I enjoy creating spiritual art – it is a way of capturing those energies that we tap into during meditation. A spiritual art picture has a powerful vibration in itself – by looking into and connecting with the images we can access the energies and divine wisdom they express.

Spirit Guides

Spirit Guides

I started creating channeled art almost by accident many years ago. I had begun to meditate and sit in development circles and felt compelled to draw the image of guides I saw. In the years that followed, I became more ‘tuned in’ to those individuals and beings who resided in the spirit world and found that I could draw a likeness of them for myself and others.

I developed my work with spirit guides which was originally in pencil or charcoal and gradually introduced more colour, linking in with the chakras and energy field. Working in colour can portray the vibrant energies of the spirit world more vividly.

This image of an Egyptian spirit guide expresses the awakening of creative powers with a focus on the Sacral chakra, centre of creativity and relationships, through the colour orange. The yellow spiral symbolises birth, rebirth and energy flowing through the right side of the brain for intuition and artistic creativity. Linking in with the powerful vibrations of the Egyptian Gods can help us access sacred wisdom and buried truths, connecting us with our ancestral and past-life memories to gain greater soul insight.

As time passed, I moved more into the abstract realm of ‘energy art’ which uses lines, shapes, symbols and, especially, colour to express the energies of life, the universe and the spiritual realms. I felt that this area of spiritual art was more flowing and free and helped me to connect energetically on a deeper level.

Many of my earlier energy paintings were created through the medium of encaustic wax, a process in which coloured wax is melted with an iron and worked on in various ways to produce unusual effects. This is a medium that is particularly suited to channeled work as effects can be created almost unconsciouslly as the wax creates unusual effects in the melting process.

Ascension Art

Ascension Art

Spiritual art can help and guide us through what is often referred to as the ‘ascension process’ or journey towards enlightenment whilst on earth. It can provide a greater understanding of the inner and outer worlds and help to identify those higher beings who are working with us to increase the spiritual vibration of the planet.

In the last few years I have channeled several higher beings, angels, archangels and masters through my art. I feel very blessed in being able to use the gift of art to capture beautiful energies and evolved beings on paper, creating a visual keep-sake and reminder of their presence and energy.

Healing Art

One of the main uses for my spiritual art paintings is as an aid to healing.

Many people find the images very relaxing and inspiring and feel that they somehow speak to them to help them with whatever issues and difficulties they might be having. The pictures can also have a protective role, for example Archangel Michael can be placed in a strategic place in a healing room or bedroom to assist with psychic protection.

Using Spiritual Art

Using Spiritual Art

Gazing upon a spiritual picture is an excellent way of linking in to its energy. Some of the ways in which my artwork can be used in conjunction with spiritual growth and development are:

  • As tools for meditation, to help focus on specific themes
  • Using their spiritual vibrations to enhance the energy of a room, for example a healing room or centre
  • As a gift to someone who is going through a difficult time or needs some spiritual focus
  • As visual tools for colour healing for particular chakras or emotions
  • Scrying into the image to discover the hidden messages, faces or mysterious worlds
  • To assist in the ascension process by holding the new energies and bringing enlightenment.
